Welcome to the Argentine Tango Club of Berkeley! We are a Registered Student Organization of the ASUC comprised of UC Berkeley students, staff, alumni, and members of the local community who love tango. Our mission is to develop a student tango community at UC Berkeley fit to carry the flag of our generation and the generations to come.
We currently hold classes every Sunday and a milonga about once a month. Whether you are just beginning tango, or have been addicted for some time, we hope that you will join us. We aim to hold high-quality events to prepare students to become active members of the Bay Area tango community, and to provide a safe, welcoming social dancing environment for the community.
Join us each weekend for a beginner class and práctica at UC Berkeley, led by alum and ATUSA finalist James Kang!

Club Event Policies
The Argentine Tango Club of Berkeley seeks to create safe spaces for all who want to learn, practice, and dance Argentine tango. Events hosted by the ATCB support the safety and well-being of everyone in attendance regardless of ability, age, ethnicity, gender identity, race, religion, role preference, or sexual preference.
In the spirit of creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for all dancers and fostering a vibrant tango community, we ask that all event attendees follow our guidelines:
Refrain from harassment of any kind.
Avoid using club resources or space for private instruction (paid or otherwise), unless explicitly authorized by the club. Please see How to Practice (with a partner).
Do not tamper with ATCB equipment.
Wear clothing appropriate to the event.
Take adequate measures to ensure good personal hygiene.
Adhere to codes of conduct appropriate for the type of event, i.e. distinguishing between behavior suitable for a practica vs a milonga.
In general, do not be disruptive during ATCB events.
Please note, that at the discretion of the ATCB club officers, anyone who does not adhere to the above guidelines may be asked to leave the event, depending on the severity of the action.
